Dyehard Fan Supply Partners with Miami University

WINSTON-SALEM, NC (March 4, 2020)—Dyehard Fan Supply, an event and retail merchandise marketing and e-commerce company, has partnered with Miami University as the official e-commerce merchandising partner of Miami Athletics and the Miami University Alumni Association.

Under this new agreement, Dyehard will manage and operate their new online store where RedHawk fans and Miami University alumni alike can shop for new and relevant merchandise in one online location. Dyehard’s new e-commerce approach with Miami can be credited to a strategic alliance with WMT, a boutique e-commerce engineering and technology firm and heavy hitter in the college digital space.

“We are excited to partner with Dyehard Fan Supply to deliver Miami Athletics merchandise and apparel online,” Director of Athletics David Sayler said. “As Dyehard’s first Mid-American Conference partner, we are thrilled to showcase their innovative approach to creative marketing and delivering the best in apparel and merchandise to our alumni and fans.
“Our Miami alumni wear their love and honor proudly,” says Kim Tavares, associate vice president, alumni relations and executive director of the Miami University Alumni Association. “This new partnership makes it easier than ever for alumni around the world to shop for branded Miami merchandise, whether they want to show their support at a Miami event or in their everyday lives.  This new, combined site will provide them with one-stop shopping for a wide range of options, including items selected specifically for alumni.”
“We are thrilled that Miami University has partnered with us on this new approach to combine the athletic and alumni websites in to one comprehensive site with the dedicated service from Dyehard,” said Teall Sports & Entertainment EVP for Business Development Rex Hough. “It’s great that the University and Athletic department both see the value in working together to promote the Miami brand within the merchandise and retail space. We look forward to the unique opportunity to interact with their sports fans and large alumni base through one channel.”

“It will be a great avenue for Dyehard to apply our exceptional service year-round online with the highest standards of service and reliability in the industry. Merchandise will consist of traditional game day and university logo’d apparel while also debuting an impressive new line of best-in-class products. Fans and alumni will enjoy the upgraded merchandise along with larger assortments made available to them than ever before.”

In addition to representing Miami University, Dyehard also serves as official merchandising partner for several other major collegiate programs, including the University of Arkansas, Auburn University, the University of North Carolina, Columbia University Athletics, the BIG EAST Conference, Rutgers University, the University of Pittsburgh, Michigan State, Mississippi State, the West Coast Conference and most recently Iowa State.

Teall Sports & Entertainment, a private equity company based in Winston-Salem, N.C. and Atlanta, Ga. created Dyehard Fan Supply in late 2017 after acquiring several companies offering an expansive national network of best-in-class merchandise capabilities. Teall anticipates additional future investments that will contribute to the top-quality retail experience for fans and customers.
